Multi-State Applications
If you are interested in having American Contractors Exam Services, Inc. process applications for you or your company in more than one state we offer discounts as follows:

3-5 applications 15% off each application
5 + applications please call for additional discounts

Registered Agents:
American Contractors Exam Services, Inc. can act as your Registered Agent in the following States: South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. We do charge a yearly fee $175.00. We will notify you by mail yearly when it is time for your Registered Agent Renewal.

License Renewals:
American Contractors Exam Services, Inc. can assist you in the Renewing of your Contractor’s license depending upon the state. Requirements do vary form state to state. Please feel free to contact one of our agents with any questions that you may have about renewing your license. Processing fees and state filing fees may vary per state.

Transferring License:
Some states will allow you to transfer your license from one Mode of Operation to another. American Contractors Exam Services, Inc. can assist you with this process. Please feel free to contact one of agents to see if your state will allow you to Transfer your license. Processing fees and state filing fees may vary per state.

Classification Add-ons:
Adding classifications to your license many vary from state to state. For the states that will allow you to add new classifications to your license American Contractors Exam Services, Inc. can assist you in filing the appropriate paperwork. Please feel free to contact one of our agents to see if your state will allow you to add classifications to your license. Processing fees and state fees may vary per state.

Monetary Limit Increases:
Some states allow you to apply for Monetary Limit Increases for your license. American Contractors Exam Services, Inc. can assist you on requesting an Increase for your license. Please make note that there are only a few select states that will allow you to apply for these increases.
Please feel free to contact one of our agents to see if your state will allow you to apply for a Monetary Limit Increase. Processing fees and state filing fees may vary per state. Additional fees such as CPA fees may also be required.

Qualifying Agents Changes:
Should your Qualifying Agent leave your company you will have to notify your State Contractor’s Board within 7-10 days (depending on the state) in writing that your agent is no longer with your company. Once you notify the Contractor’s Board you will have 30-90 days (depending on the state) to find a new Qualifying Agent. The new Qualifying Agent will need to take the required exams to become your Agent. Please feel free to contact one of our agents to find out more information about you Qualifying Agent Changes. Business Services

Corporation Formation
The Paperwork Department can help you form your corporation. Our fee is $200.00. This fee does not include the state fees. Additional State fees will apply.

The paperwork department can also file you tax number and/or employer identification number for a fee of $20.00.

The Paperwork Department will also file your Charter of Organization with the Register of Deeds in the county where your corporation is located, or the city/county your corporation will be doing work in. Limited Liability Company (LLC)
The paperwork department can help you form your Limited Liability Company or LLC. Our fee is $200.00 to file your Charter with the Secretary of State. This fee does not include any state fees. Additional state fees will apply.

The paperwork department can also file for your tax identification number and/or you employer identification number for a fee of $20.00

The paperwork department will also file your Articles of Formation with the register of deeds in the county in which your LLC is located or the city/county your LLC will be doing work. Fees will vary by state please contact our office at 800-992-1910, and ask for Vanessa Hunt or Rachael Lamb.
